About Irene

I’ve been a Windermere real estate agent since 1999, and during that time I’ve been fortunate to work with a lot of wonderful clients, many of whom have ended up becoming long-time friends as well.

I love helping people get more value out of their real estate investments, whether it’s through counseling home buyers about homes that have the best potential for good resale value, working with sellers to prepare their home in such a way that we can boost its market value before it even goes on market, or by providing remodeling and maintenance tips that help my clients make better choices.

I’m a member of the National Association of Realtors, an Accredited Buyer Representative, and I specialize in marketing homes for sale through in-depth pre-listing preparation and top-notch professional photography.  I’m also a Washington state certified real estate clock hours instructor.

Home Buyer Consultation

I’ve never had to ‘close’ a home buyer on a home purchase in my whole life – the concept just sounds totally out of context for the role of a Buyer’s Agent.

What I’ve found is that if I properly educate people about the process of buying a home, what to look for, what to watch out for, and what features create the best potential for good resale value and enjoyment as a homeowner, then they know the right home when they see it.

That being said, part of my job is also to let you know if I think you’re overlooking a home that is a great deal, or becoming too fond of a home that has significant problems.

In addition to helping you choose the right home, I work hard to come up with a correct market valuation, negotiate during the offer and home inspection, provide you with names of competent, honest service providers, and track your home closing carefully to make sure that no last-minute snafus crop up.

Home Seller Services

If you’re a future home seller who has been looking around at home listings online recently, chances are you’ve been shocked by how enormously bad some of the listing photos are.  This isn’t just something that affects your home with the online viewer, it also represents the type of experience people will have when they actually come to visit your home!  (Although far fewer of them will, because the photos did not draw them in to begin with.)

I truly believe that by properly preparing a home before it’s listed and then taking magnificent photos that show off its best features, it’s often possible to boost a home’s market value by a few percentage points before it even goes on market.

When I list a property I work hard with the sellers beforehand to create a plan that identifies and highlights the best features of their home so that they’re obvious to home buyers viewing the home both online and off.  This includes me hiring one of the best professional home photographers in Seattle (and boy, they are not all equal).

I also work hard to come up with an accurate, realistic market valuation that makes sense to you – one that allows your home to sell in a reasonable amount of time without making you feel like you left money on the table.
