Seattle’s School Assignment System
Students in Seattle now receive initial school assignments based on where they live. They still have the option to apply to another attendance area school. Here are some useful links with info about the new assignment system:
NEW SEATTLE STUDENT ASSIGNMENT PLAN INFO
SEARCH SEATTLE SCHOOL ASSIGNMENT BY HOME ADDRESS – Use your current Seattle address to view assigned schools.
SEATTLE SCHOOL DIRECTORY – View attendance area maps of various schools. You can also get school performance information by clicking ‘Data Summary’ on individual school listings.

SEATTLE SCHOOL INFO AND SCORES – Use the dropdown menu to choose individual schools on the Washington State Report Cards website.
LIST OF ALL PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SEATTLE SCHOOLS – Use the left hand menu to narrow down your search on the Great Schools website.
COMPARE SCHOOLS – Compare all schools within a radius that you specify on the SchoolDigger website. (Not sure how well the radius search works for zip codes, it works well for street addresses.)
